Among the divinatory arts, cartomancy has always occupied a prominent place. The use of cards for the knowledge of the future was born, it can be said, with the cards themselves, the Tarot cards, and it was only a new application of the ancient human desire to know in advance the events that interest him. After examining the possible explanations of the phenomenon – which is part of Parapsychology – the Author, based essentially on personal experiences, both as a scholar and a psychic, moves on to the explanation of the methods of divinatory use of the cards. Then, it exposes and explains the systems most used in cartomancy, with the various interpretations to be given to the cards, from the fundamental meaning of each of them to those that they can assume from time to time, depending on the other cards with which they are drawn. Finally, Verrico presents his personal method for divinatory practice, which has often proved to be infallible. Of course, everything confirms that the fortune teller’s intuition, or rather paranormal qualities, have great importance in relation to the accuracy and interpretation of responses.
