Rediscover the true spiritual roots of Europe and today’s Italian neo-pagan reality. With the advent of the new millennium, a slow and gradual awakening of many religious realities with very ancient roots also began, which for centuries seemed to have fallen asleep in the folds of time, perhaps giving the illusion of having been completely destroyed and forgotten. However, this was not the case and today these religions, which represent the true Spiritual Roots of Europe, have returned to new evolved perspectives and more and more people recognize themselves in them, so much so that the number of neo-pagans in the West grows exponentially, developing faster than any other religion. In addition to highlighting Neopaganism from an anthropological, spiritual and esoteric point of view, the work also tries to dispel many clichés and prejudices in this regard, it also contains exclusive interviews with some exponents of the neo-pagan world in Italy.
Among the interviewees in particular we mention: Cronos, president of the only Italian Wiccan association and author of the book Wicca the new era of the Old Religion, and Vanth Spirit Walker, organizer of the Pagan Pride Italy which has been taking place in Rome for several years now.
Among the topics: Christmas is pagan – The return of the old cult – Wicca and esotericism – From the Great Mother to Mary – The eternal feminine – From the Goddess to God – Lilith & Eva – The moon in mythology – Neo-pagan rituals – Magic and elements – Neopaganism in Europe – Neopaganism and chaos magick – And much more …
In the appendix: Historical chronology of the persecutions (suffered by the pagans) – The death of the Gods (period chronicle) – The Circolo dei Trivi (short report accompanied by photos of some moments concerning the pagan practices carried out within the homonymous Wiccan association ).
