The Eye of Ra, or rather the eye of the sun, is an amulet belonging to the Egyptian mythology. The amulet, whose name means "be healthy" was of great importance in spreading civilization and was placed as a rule within the bandages that wrapped the body of the deceased, as well as on amulets, reliefs, carvings and papyrus, as symbol of regeneration. Graphically is dominated by one eye brow and below by a spiral, for some, the remaining section of the plumage of the hawk, the animal from which Horus takes the form. H. 20 mm, L. 23 mm.
