The Exus and Pomba Giras are entities that are within the cultural Quimbanda. Despite their artistic representation mannered not to be confused neither with nor with the demons of the Goetia demons of Judeo-Christian culture. Each statue represents an entity of Quimbanda (or Pomba Exu Gira) with its attributes and its stylization. Some pictures have a working baroque and are noted for the attention to detail and the delicacy of the lines. The statues of Exu and Pombo Gira are used to adorn the altars of the absent spiritual Quimbanda or accompany the faithful of this ancient African religion.
