This pendulum, light in weight but endowed with excellent radiesthetic vibratory frequency because of the material from which it was made, stands out for its precision in all kinds of investigations, both spiritual and exquisitely practical. The earliest available records of the dowsing pendulum date back more than 2,000 years before Christ, to Egypt. It was in the very sarcophagi of the Valley of the Kings that objects used as pendulums were found, as well as dowsing rods made of different materials and adorned with precious or semiprecious stones. There is no specific standard about the making of a pendulum, there are different types from the classic pyramid-shaped, to the more peculiar spherical-shaped, made of brass, crystal, silver, wood, gold, with or without a pendulum holder.
