The Contra Egun is a braided wrist bracelet used in candomblé ceremonies and afrobrasilian traditions to keep distant spirits, dead, low energies. Traditionally it is worn on the biceps, but it can also be brought on by virtue of the power attributed to this straw that is associated with the orixà Omolù.
